The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) says the construction of new residences for Heads of Courts in Asokoro will directly employ 500 workers and engage over 1,500 others indirectly.
Flagging off the project on Monday, October 13, 2025, FCT Minister Nyesom Wike said the initiative forms part of President Bola Tinubu’s policy to strengthen judicial welfare while expanding local employment opportunities.
“The project will not only give dignity to our judges but also create jobs for our people. We are making sure this is done within one year,” Wike said.

Located in Asokoro’s Cadastral Zone A04, the project is being executed by Details 2 Dot Development Ltd under a 12-month completion schedule, with no variation permitted.
Managing Director of the firm, Akor Adapoyi, said the construction would bring together skilled and unskilled workers across Abuja. “We will ensure efficiency and quality delivery while empowering over 2,000 Nigerians through direct and indirect jobs,” he assured.
Wike reaffirmed that the housing policy represents a new phase in judicial welfare, adding that no judge in the FCT will live in rented accommodation by the end of President Tinubu’s first term.
