In a move to alleviate poverty and provide immediate support to vulnerable communities, the Federal Government, through the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, has distributed essential palliatives to over 400 Nasarawa State residents.

The relief package, distributed on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Emir of Keffi’s Palace, included bags of rice, solar electronics, and cash donations. This initiative is part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, designed to uplift the less privileged and vulnerable members of society.
Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim emphasized that the intervention aligns with President Tinubu’s vision of direct assistance to struggling communities. She called on well-meaning individuals, philanthropists, and corporate organizations to contribute to similar humanitarian efforts, stressing the importance of collective action in improving the lives of Nigerians.
The Minister urged beneficiaries to use the items wisely and assured those who didn’t receive assistance this time that more palliatives will be distributed soon. The Emir of Keffi, Alhaji Shehu Chindo Yamusa, expressed gratitude for the Minister’s dedication to humanitarian service, acknowledging the positive impact of her efforts across Nigeria.
This intervention reaffirms the Federal Government’s commitment to inclusive economic relief and sets the stage for continued support to vulnerable communities under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
