In a landmark development, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has forged a strategic partnership with the community in Lugbe, Abuja, to establish a cutting-edge security outpost. This pioneering initiative is set to revolutionize security operations in the area, providing a safer and more secure environment for residents.

The state-of-the-art outpost, generously donated by Leisure Court Ltd, is meticulously positioned to respond swiftly to security challenges and engage effectively with the community. This vital hub will serve as a base for NSCDC officers to monitor activities, support neighborhood watch programs, and foster unparalleled cooperation between the NSCDC and the community.

FCT Commandant of the NSCDC, Dr. Olusola Odumosu, emphasized the significance of this groundbreaking initiative, stating, “This project embodies the Corps’ unwavering commitment to creating a safer environment for every citizen in the FCT. With urbanization and rapid population growth, security challenges have become more complex. We are faced with new threats that require innovative and proactive solutions.”
